Well, if it's a tall piece you have to look up-- like this patron. Color photo enhanced in PS 7.
Can't respond to this technically re photography/digital, but gut reaction -
It all works - composition, values, color, that little "hit" of purplish around the collar, the column things to my left pushing "up" repeating the figure's gaze and a little repeat of the greenish and yellowish colors at the edge of the figure's shoulder.
Really, really nice.

i like this, too :) - just thinking i'd like to see the rest of his head. my eyes keep going there wishing it wasn't cut off.
