View Full Version : a quickie, no, don't go there

I don't do quickies, I do projects, that take days or weeks, so this is an attempt to do what some other here, do all the time. No more than 1.5 hrs. it's My Girl Kate Beckinsale, the most appealing Brit. Painter 8, PSP 8.
Oh, the ref pic was only 233pixels high, so detail was not there.

Same lady different film. Kate in Pearl Harbor as a nurse. PSP, Painter 8. Now, if I could just get her to visit me with the nurse uniform on.

Hey Greg- long time no see. nice texture especially on the first one and the background of the nurse. The nurse's pose is pretty natural and you have captured that well.

Good seein ya around.

Hi Bob, thanks. Hey, did I see your name on that Painter group that Jin has. The posting is too weird for me, url's?

05-28-2003, 02:28 PM
Yeah Greg, you did. Jin has always been the most help for me when it comes to the painter program. Always was able to get me on the right track. But yes the posting is dissapointing/more difficult, as you need to have you stuff based somewhere else. I don't know how to do it yet, but I imagine I will at some point. Still hang around the new IDD site some, I think the new site is good and you have stuff that would be allowed there now, that would not be so acceptable in the old site.

Have been keepin an eye out for you, but really have been busy with kids and stuff so haven't been getting to much art done. Just commenting during my lunch breaks from time to time.

Something in mine too, as I don't care. It's abondoned, it doesn't deserve a fix or anything, roundfile it:cat:

Yeah, I like the second one much better. Was it a quickie, too?

05-28-2003, 11:48 PM
Yes, but longer than the other. Thanks, where you been hiding?

I've been doing a bit of lurking lately. I've got a few balls in the air regarding selling some work. Been working out the details. Hope to have the project in motion within the next week or two. I've also been spending some time doing pencil sketches.

Oh, gonna become one of those Paid folk, git all high and mighty, and not talk to us poor folk any more types. Ok, I see it now.

That's cool, hope you do, and good luck.
