Hi Rachel,
I came by late last night, but was too tired to comment, when I start to see double, I know it's time for bed.....lol

These are very good photos. I enjoy horse show jumping, but don't get to see it often. A couple of years ago I went to Spruce Meadows at Calgary, Alberta, to see the show jumping there. (took lots of photos too) That was the first time I had seen a jumping event live. Normally I just get to see it on T.V.

I hope you take more photos of your friend's shows.

Ooh What a wonderful hunter competition. The girl on the grey appears to be much more accomplished than the one on the bay, (if you don't mind me saying as she is your friend):) .

I also ride in hunter shows, so I can see this mostly by the riders leg position which says a lot. Also they rode in fairly novice events as the fences aren't particularly high.

I hope you had a wonderful time at the show. They are a lot of fun particularly from the back of a horse.

This is great all these great photos!! You and Twyla are so lucky!! I have to wait 6 more weeks before I can travel to shows!!:( :crying: But I am glad that you all are nice enough to share!!!!:)

Thanks for looking you guys!
She-She: i'm so jealous! i've always wanted to go to Spruce Meadows!! i watch their competitions on tv all the time!
Lady Carol: you're absolutly right. the girl on the grey is much better, not to mention she is riding a hunter horse. the girl on the bay, although she is my friend, is not a great hunter rider (she does combined training), and is trying to do so on an ARAB! after that show, she decided not to enter any more hunter shows... you're right; shows are a lot more fun when you're riding in them! but i'm still looking around for a horse, so hopefully this summer i can show again...:p BTW, do you have any show pics of you or others riding? i'd love to see them!!
Christina: Why do you have to wait before you can travel to shows? is it just not show season where you are? but hey, once you can go to shows, it'll be tons of fun i'm sure!! thanks for looking!!!!

No, it is semi show season here...but I have to wait for my leg to heal before I go treking through shows standing for extended periods of time....:( But soon enough..... I will be going to show and take photos and of course set up my booth. I tend to do good with my Photography and art booth at smaller shows!! I can't wait!!
