Ciarrai, these are really good for someone whos new to both ink and figure drawing. You're off to a really good start. Keep at it and i hope the book helps. If it does, i reckon i might come steal it lol :P

I love the way you keep trying new things. These are a good start.
i tried a new pose this morning.. i think it turned out probably the best so far.. its posted in the p&i forum, as well as the figure forum.. titled "girl"...

You're getting a pretty good style :)
I specially like your first one, that high contrast it's great...
Lines are very well placed, developing a complete shading style for them is next...
It's nice to watch how you're been developing here at WC these months, really :)
i wanted to experiment with the first one more.. the model is leaning forward and having him kneel on the stool.. it creats movement..
the contrasting ink to the left of the drawing was done to create a bit of style :D i love how ink can really make an object stand out.. it creates a dimension before the model, almost like a wall and if i can get better at doing this.. hopefully it will help represent a 3D view of the model

These are really good for a first try. Boy with a little practice you will have it down to a T....:)
am having some difficulties though.. i think i'm going into TOO much detail.. have a look at my latest piece titled "ink - girl" in the pen and ink forum to see what i mean
