View Full Version : OP Som nude and some trees
Done from a painting from a book.
On white pastelpaper 48x36cm.
And some trees, just a little fantasysketch.
On wcpaper 30x40cm.
Some highlighting was done with softpastel; rembrandts are too hard and won't do, W&N's are fine and Schminckes are perfect to that end.

Dick - can't decide which one I like best - in fact I wish you had posted them separately.
The nude is powerful and it make me think I need to do some copying of pieces myself. It has to help.
Love the lively composition in the landscape. Those are bright colors for you I think (in comparison to some of your work) - great to see.
That nude is indeed a powerful image Dick, love all those complementaries you've used in the skin tones, super work, your little landscape is lovely too.

as always...i love your use of colour, stunning:clap:
Dick, The landscape colors really pop! Love it. You know I am partial to landscapes though.:)
Keep em coming!
Thought I'd save some space posting them together, Barb.
But indeed I think I had better not as the subjects are in no way connected.
