this is a little weird, but i thought yall might like to see what i was working on last weekend

It was a project for my dad. he is a landscape architect and he is working on a development project and this is a watercolor of an aerial photo of the area. he hired me to do this for him. took me about 4 hours.

Interesting perspective--certainly a bird's eye view!

Bethany, this is really interesting... I'm not exactly sure what I'm looking at though... Your Dad, however, will appreciate your work!!!

it is from an aerial photo of a pennensula. the blue is water and at the bottom is a beach. the stripe through the middle is a highway and the blue blobs are big ponds. the sandy area "above" the highway is coastal wetlands.

Good job! I knew I was looking aerially at a hillside before you explained it, but thought the blue was carved into the hillside - like the white chalk carvings in U.K. Your Dad will be pleased with this one.

Interesting viewpoint, Bethany! (I just love looking at aerial photos...)

Wouldn't it be nice if he hires you to render his plan???
