WIP? looks done to me, but I dont know jack. Here the dog and figure look deeply into their views. The dog... its not just a dog. this is an animal captured and never forgotten. The figure here is someone happy; I wish I were part of this setting.

Your abilities with Acrylics is most impressive. The transparancy you achieve really makes for a wonderful piece of artwork. Compositionally very strong. Color usage good also.

Never heard Jerry say something, "rocks"

nice work

Liking this so far but would like to see a larger post.

Take a look at the arm above the dog. It doesn't seem to fit with the rest...both the length(seems too short and thin) and position seems awkward. If you cover it the rest is wonderfully together.
Keep posting the progress please.

agree with artinoils about the arm. wouldn't have noticed if the rest wasn't so at ease. otherwise finished except for sig. it is a good 'un!

Thanks ALL for your important feedback!

JERRY, when I saw this pose, I actually thought you would like to paint it too.

BOBCOTE, yeah, I was honored with “rocks.” Fyi, it’s almost done. And, after seeing your work, there’s no doubt that you know “jack.”

ARTBABE, “love her toes!” Then my work is done...LOL!

LUZIE, hope it will be finished next week.

PAINTBRUSH, must admit that I too like the way the painting is developing.

ARTINOILS, agreed...arms need work.

SOMERSET, will try to post larger...when it’s done. This image was scanned (six times) and stitched together.

Once Gauguin said of Van Gogh's work that it made him dizzy .. in reference to the stroke patterns .. this one has that effect on me but I keep coming back for more .. this is very well done .. hope you don't burn it.

Me too! Been known to play with fire...but, mostly afraid of ticklin’ it to death.

Indeed, Clide is a hoot! After each break he would hop up next to Stephanie, sit in the same place, on the chair, and stair me in the face. A bit unsettling, I must admit.

The extreme contrasts jolt me while the elegance of the pose holds me together. Nice nice nice!
