View Full Version : "Small-Bearing" Self-Portrait II

This is the second in a series of self-portraits in watercolor and gouache done from reflections in a ball-bearing at ~1::1 scale

The ball-bearing was 5/8" and the painted image is 1/2", or probably somewhat smaller than the image on the screen (depending on your monitor).

And yes, my circle is lopsided...:o

Good to show the actual image size; however, too small for old eyes to see. You can always enlarge it to 500 pixels x 600 pixels max to post in in the forum.

LOL... especially with coke bottle trifocals!!!!

I deliberately made the posted graphic little! I wanted to give the same visual impression to the graphic that I got when looking at the original ball-bearing (without the magnifying specs).

So in one sense, the size complaints are a compliment. :evil: However, having had my fun, I appologize! :angel:

Unfortunately, I deleted the original scans. I'll try to re-scan the image.
