Great job on this flower from Rod's collection too. The animation works perfectly and is a pleasure to watch. (You're very good at performance based watercolor! :))

Thank you Bethany, Mary-Ann, and Annetta for taking the time to look and comment.....

Annetta I used ImageReady to do the animation.....It's a small program that comes with Photoshop 6

This is really super! And the animation is fascinating. I watched it for about five minutes to try to catch the various stages. I love to see how someone else approaches a piece.

Thanks for sharing this with us.

Lovely flower, Barb. I like the ragged edges, the little veins and the feeling of depth :)

The speed-WIP is nice, too...

I believe this is a hibiscus. Good colors! The WIP is awesome. I'd really like to learn how to do that! Can you lead me in the right direction?

Brilliant Barb,

love the textures , you've caught the raggedness of the bloom, and your dark background makes it pop.

Your animation is fascinating to watch , neat idea :)

Thank you Doug, Char, and Rod.......

Yeah thought the animated WIP would be easier, and you guys wouldn't have to scroll through so many images.....was just a thought and something different to do.........
