Hi everyone,

this is my new acrylic painting. For the background in the upper left corner I used airbrush and the painting is done on gesso hardboard.
Size is about 20" x 12"

Please let me know what you think about it. C & C as always most appreciated!

Beautiful work, I am in love with the warm colors you've used in the background. I've been wanting to invest in an airbrush, I just hope that I would use it enough that it would be worth it to buy! The ox is amazing as well, really like how you've achieved the texture of the horns.:)

I know I commented on this one already, but I didn't realize it was acrylic! I thought it was pastel originally. Regardless, it's truly stunning. What brand of acrylics do you use?

Diana, this is superb. You have this amazing style - hundreds of tiny immaculate brushstrokes - what a patient lady you are!!!

Thank you all.

This is great to hear that you like the painting and my style too :)

@Shalese: I use the GOLDEN Acrylics. We have a few shops here in Germany where the Heavy Body Acrylics are also available and I really like to work with them.
But you are right, most times I work in pastels. :) This is my favorite technique but it's always fun to play with the brushes once in a while.

Thank you all so much for looking and the nice support :)
I'm working right now on my new lion pastel painting and hope to finish it soon. Will post some more steps in the next days.

Best wishes to all of you
