I posted this drawing in the March Challenge dryad thread in F&SF. I got to thinking about the fawn, and how I'm not sure I've posted in this forum yet. So I brought it over to share. The drawing won't be getting a proper scan for a couple of weeks, so please forgive the image (it's a camera shot tweaked in PhotoElements).

New Spring 14" x 17" pencil on Strathmore medium grade drawing paper.

That is a very warm and welcoming comment Chammi! I do find that considered paring down of the different bits before getting into finishing of the forms seems to make a real difference quality, appearance and time spent :)

Thanks Karen. The work isn't really "significant", but I do want it to be lovely and possibly worth the viewers time to look at it for a bit.

Thanks Robert, Nicki and Barb. I enjoyed the process a lot.

This is another piece I did (I'm sitting around a hotel for hours a day while my Lady is doing the conference thing). It is almost variations on a theme. I figure the wee bunnies make it suitable for this forum, so here it is.

Tentatively titled "A Sweet Moment", 14" x 17" pencil on Strathmore medium grade drawing paper.

J Mark J!! This is another lovely drawing and it deserves it's own thread . I would suggest you post it separately so that folk can see it and comment on it.:)

Here are the final images from my scanner guy. The paper has that slight yellow cast, and I am leaving it just the way it is. I'm rather happy with the final result :)
