as a general female body, the hips work really well.
the legs/arms are a little thin and detract from the overall shape.
think the breasts seem a little too in focus because of attention paid elsewhere, it seems like a composite figure, not one you've drawn from life.
the wash and cross hatching are really well done.the emphasis/de-emphasis on line v shadow also works.

who wouldn't like it at this stage

Like a fine stone relief--a lot of information and subtlety already

I'm pretty happy with this work at this stage. The drawing is very good and I am happy with the use of watercolor here to add some more it the work. Structurally its sound. I looked at it again... The background is very simple compared to the drawing. have you thought about adding perhaps the slightest of something to the background?

have fun,

bocote

it is just a drawing of a torso. I didn't draw the legs. Wayne loves the face. It's not together anyway.
The stomach/belly is what i worked on.
Just a sketch.
Spent hours on it.
A good drawing is never finished.
Thank you, sincerely, for your comments.

.. I think if the legs were done it would stand as is .. no need to take it any further .. the mood is very soft and lends itself to the not refined mode but no matter where you take it, it will be lovely .. your work always is.

I thing it displays a very very nice touch. (I would be happy with it as is)
such subtleness.

I tend to agree with Wayne. First thing I noticed were the legs. Correct them & it would stand (pun) beautifully as is. Even if you were intending to focus elsewhere...they detract.
