I used Art Spectrum Pigmented Ink in Burnt sienna. I draw the figure in first with the Ink using a Dip Pen.

I than placed a wash of Sepia Watercolor with a tad of Cobalt blue.

Very nice. When I look at this my mind says add some red, orange and yellow.....

LOL Pamp. Its a girl. Yes it does look like a beard.
Supposed to be a bit of shadow under the chin. Don't know if I can do anything with it now.

I tried your suggestions, & yes I agree with you. It does look a lot better. I am happy how this one turned out. even though she's got a beard.
but hey! I have seen woman with a bit of a beard, :D

Yes! The color washes do add warmth.

Oh yes! I am happier with it too. What a difference a wee bit of the colors make! I look forward to seeing more of your ink and wash work.

Painting another one now, but it did not work to well.
I mucked up with the drawing.
