I started this one with wildflowers but I dont kjnow what to make as the focal point... help please

Kathy, I am one of those people who feels that not every painting has to have a focal point. If I see a field of wildflowers where would there be a focal point.

But if you must, maybe a grouping of red ones or yellow ones or blue ones in the, what do they call it, golden triangle??? and let the other ones fade back.

I am sure many more qualified artists will help you out.

No Ushi I felt that was very good advice about the golden triangle and I shall give it a whirl...I am assuming the triangle is with the longest flat line on the bottom?

This is a very bright, airy painting! IMO, A few more of the orange (poppies?) off-center a little will pull the eye into the painting.
Don't overwork any of it--keep it fresh.:)
