Check out a visitor I had today. This is a common wolf spider. The picture OS about a half inch smaller.

OK, I for one will be looking forward to this. We have lots of these in our garden, my favourite scene is when the babies first hatch and mom spider carries them around on her back for several days before they take off on their own - hundreds of little tiny translucent spiderlings. This after weeks of dragging the egg sac with her wherever she goes. They are dedicated moms, for sure.

Pulling up a chair (looks like there will be lots of room LOL)

Ok, so spiders really CREEP me out! Dang, I dislike them, especially since I had been bitten by a "hobo" spider last yeat...painful and CREEPED me out!!!
But, in the spirit of wanting to see what a fantastic job I know you would do on this creepy guy(?), I'll peek in.....carefully:lol: , just don't mind the bugspray I'll be toteing...OK?!

Well I've got no problem with spiders and enjoy watching and photographing them :). I think they are quite interesting!

Glad I'm not the only arachniphobe! I couldn't possibly paint (or even look at) any kind of "big and hairy" spider, but you go for it!

http://www.wetcanvas.com/Community/images/17-Mar-2012/39292-P9280081.JPG I like it! We get those in our garage and sometimes the washroom. Yours has stripey legs, ours here don't. Must be different varieties of wolf spidies. BTW this isn't a wolf one, I don't know what he was but he was on a web outside our front door.
