Just started this 10 x 12 in oil on canvas of a Jaguar - 1st Ive painted.
This is just at the VERY 1st blocking in stage, as you can see.

Looks awesome so far! I've been meaning to find an excuse to paint a jaguar for some time now, I think this will give me more incentive. ;)

another quick update - basically all the underfur is now painted in.
Now the fun part starts, putting in the detail and then adjusting to get the colours and tones much more realistic, looks like a teddy bear at this stage ;)

Fab Jason, he has more of a pronounced 3D look now and the expression is incredibly lifelike - do you find this easy at this stage or do you still struggle a bit (like the rest of us mere mortal artists) :lol:
