OK Fire away Pam and MKathleen and the rest...
1) I don't really like those clouds, but there are 3 of them and
2) Whats the smudge in the sand?

The golf course is called Le Bete..The Beast.
The hole is called Grand Canyon.
Located an hour north of Montreal...has a sister course called La Belle..The Beauty.
We're really original up here...eh?

Good painting. I think your 3 clouds are too much alike. Need more variety in them.

Hi Brian--Enjoying seeing another take on painting a golf course. You have some terrific directional movement in the landscape and I can see how it got it name 'Le Bete'. I'm very new to painting golf courses so I'm a little reluctant to give to much advice. I think there are some really nice areas in your painting I especially like the figures. Your colors are very nice and compliment the painting as a whole. I do feel like others the clouds could maybe vary in shape and size.
Overall I do like your painting very much.
Best,
Kathy:)

Brian, you figures are great! The sand and greens really, really read well! The only nit I could possibly have are, in fact, the clouds... Perhaps softening the inside edges of them would help a little????

Thanks for the advice...Will try that or add something that would go behind one or two of the clouds so they dont peak so obviously....funny how you do something without "planning" and then have to work at getting it back on track...
Thanks all
