This is so NOT me.
I really don't have a clue what came over me.
A day of total confusion.
I was out of my studio, but I had a few tubes of weird colors on me.
Could not mix any green, wanted to do a floral, got frustrated, had to paint something, anything. Well that is the result.
After long deliberation... I think I may title it.

I wish you'd be insane more often Ginette. This kind of insane I can get to spend time with. http://www.wetcanvas.com/ubb/smile.gif

Thanks Impulse... That means there is hope... I guess!

I don't think I could have paintd this mess, if I planned it. There must be three layers at least until I gave up.

Personally, I wouldn't call it a mess. It's "Automatisme" for sure, but it's not muddy yet. You have some sort of a patern going...and quite a bit of texture. http://www.wetcanvas.com/ubb/smile.gif

The simple fact that you would normally never do something like this, gives it importance. You freed yourself of constraints and came up with this. Granted, it's probably far from what you were setting up to do. This being said, try to use it as a study. Look at it while the movements are still fresh in your mind and memorise the brushstrokes you think could be usefull in another painting.

And, hey, if it helped releive some stress, you're ahead, some people pay a lot of money to acheive just that! http://www.wetcanvas.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

I think the title you picked for it is perfect as that's what it would have reminded me of.
It also makes me think of one of those things where you see what you see, but squint and relax eyes and you see something else! Oh, you know what I mean! http://www.wetcanvas.com/ubb/smile.gif
visual illusion.

I know what you mean.
I have put it up on EBAY, if it does not sell, I follow Jeanine's advise and paint a few little fish in there and put it up again.
Heck.... Why not.
