This is a picture of our dog who passed away about 1-1/2 years ago. It has taken me all this time before I could look at his picture without crying. He was an incredible companion and watched over me constantly. I miss him.

This painting was done with pastel pencils on velour and the size is approx. 12x16.

Thank you for looking. Comments most welcome.

I'm so sorry for your loss of such a gentle, incredibly intelligent boy.

Zeke's eyes, as you've portrayed them, are just filled with gentleness and knowing. You've done a wonderful job,  , and please let me send you a hug-
:grouphug: as I know that even after a mere 1.5 years, his loss is still strongly felt.

I really like how you have made the fur. The black color is not the easiest to get lively, but you got it! And I am sorry for your lost, it is a pity these great friends of ours doesn't live longer!
