Allure (working title)
Mixed media
16 x 16 on block mounted canvas

Again this is a direct scan of the canvas and the colours haven't replicated well, the hair has gold-leaf/brown and burgundy highlights.

I'm betting this one is a knock out live since the glimmer of the gold is lost here in digitation. It's a bold piece even without the shine, another great one. Is she wearing a little piece of her heart of gold on her sleeve there?

I like the overall heart shape you've given her... one concession to portraiture might be to make bottom lip a lighter value...

Ronin ... I agree that her hair needs more highlights than what are visable in this scan.... although in the 'real' version of the painting, her hair has highlights that can't be seen in the scan.. I've scanned a section quickly to see if I can show you what I mean....

Beautiful. I like very much how she looks at us. That title would do well for her proper name. Very nice Deev. This dualism in the faces you paint has me talking to myself. If that's the desired effect, you have been very successful. http://www.wetcanvas.com/ubb/smile.gif
