......more on the Intuos stuff. As I said last time I had the "smoothness" lever cranked way up on my last jpg conversions, and I see that more "smoothness" to them means blur the detail. My last one is lost which bites, because on the "evolved" version I had added more skin texture and corrosion stuff and it was looking very UNsmooth just in time for me to come and basically destroy it...I cannot evolve that concept again for now.

........anyway...here goes with "smoothness" snuffed completely out....

Beverly,

Someone lent me their INTUOS stylus and Wacom Tablet and I seem to be using something called Painter 6. My life will be far too short to inhale all I need to so I don't get too mixed up with this stuff, but this is my first time using an actual stylus shaped THING and that's what I have held when drawing since I was a child, so It makes things much more fluent for me than a mouse. The mouse actually helped me loosen upo though because it had me beginning my pieces very broad and bold and out of focus and honing from there, but as I have discovered in the last 24 hours ...I can make something on the computer and then it can disappear very quickly if I do something dumb. I have a good feeling inside though when I can just move witht he stylus and see things appear. It's different for me who always called these glowing boxes "confusers". It has a surreal effect on me that is somehow soothing in a way that is similar to chemical alterations. I can more easily traverse some places... There is nothing like paint though. I just mixed up a pallette of egg-tempered paint and AAAAaaaaaaaaaaaaH! things will be ok now.

Here is a detail of that thing. I post it because it seem sto me that the above image looks kind of spiky or a bit thorny due to the "ricey" grain of the upload procedure,...whatever happens to it when it leaves here.......AKKKKKKK! where's my brush!?!?

I agree about it NEVER replacing the real thing. I like getting INTO the media (virtual paint, hmmmm). This is great stuff though, looks like it's working for you. Post your egg stuff too http://www.wetcanvas.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

Thanks Amy, and when you're building solid roads to important places you're not being "left" anywhere.
