good painting - love the way you have painted the face and framed it with the hair - but what is going on in the top righthand corner? Intriguing.

Jerry, I really like this one. Excellent work. I assume it's acrylic, but what size?

Fresh indeed!!!! Jerry, you could do more of these :)

Wes, Jerry edits his post and inserts code that posts the image from his website instead and adds an "alt" name - therefore, hold your cursor over the picture and it says...... 16x16 Acrylic on canvas.....

I used to write html in notepad, and hacked some :evil:

YLCIA {happy you like}

coulter { I will try to do more of these -you do have my simple post discovered well, in the past I also used to write html in notepad, and hack - made one html3 decoder too, that was really weird}

Wes Hyde {as coulter said 16X16 acrylic}

harv { kia puts her hair up if not morning showered yet and it flounces around, you are seeing wall and tumble of hair blurred lomographically and rendered to the light.}

artbabe21 {one can alsways find beauty}

ordie4 { Ha, festive - we were simply about to be on our way to shopping groceries - I drive miss kia in the big black car, she likes that, my nick name for her and the driving anticipation is <b>happydog</b>. (oddly I hate driving - it interrupts my eye-game-consciousness and is bloody dangerous)}

I love the title...

You appear to have a relatively easy time of it capturing facial expression. (of course,...relatively is a relative concept:).
There certainly is a look of joy,.(perhaps some michieviousness) in her eyes.

Initaially,..I though she was holding up a pair of those older, huge Koss headphones to her ear,....but your reply explains the hair. .. Nice..someday, I hope to be able to easily "get" faces. Cheers

LOL after reading your decriptions jerry...I thought those were two hands on either side of the face saying "look at the camera".
Love the face and playfulness of this. The captured expression is great!

owned hard again Jerry. This work depicts what I feel is great artwork. The soft yet daring blending of colors and forms really adds. Again, nice work.

have fun,
