I am working on this portrait for the Portrait Project.
Comments on how I should finish this off.
I not sure what to do with the areas between the leaves.
On the original photo it is very dark.
What color should I mix for this area???

Phillip, you are really good w/portraits! If you want to actually mix a dark to put in between the leaves, FUB w/violet would work; and if you really, really wanted to go dark, add some green to that. However, I think you could drop in some of the other colors used in the portrait--some red, and blue, with lots of purple. Please remember, this is only my opinion--you've done great so far on your own LOL

Thanks for the comment artmom.
I just thought of something else I could do.
What if I finnish off painting the red shirt & use blue for the background similar to how I have it on the right.
Than paint in some branches between the leaves.
Do you think that will work???

Don't know what to do yet.
I might try out the 2 sugestions on Photoshop & see which one I think will work better.
I am realy happy how this one is coming along I don't want to spoil it now.

Try Photoshop and while you are it, try cropping the left side a little and see how that looks! Post them and I'll be happy to put my two cents in! LOL
