This one I did out of a home decorating book, I think called "White on White". I just did it for practice, not to sell, have to watch that copyright stuff. Anyway, I wanted to see if I could do the textures and the chests and urns. Please comment. It's not so dark in person, the back of the shelves are more of a reddish dark brown. This one is about 19 x 27 inches, Lanaquarelle paper, W& N paints.

Very well executed in my opinion, very meticulous. I can't find anything wrong :) You goal was fulfilled, your textures are spot on, maybe the top right-hand urn is a bit off.. could be due to the scan.. cameras tend to warp corners of pictures..

Hello again, Lari. I just commented on your grapes... and this one is also very good!

You surely caught the textures well, but the composition is also nice and the contast between the white object and the brown gives it a nice pattern :) Love the way you painted the wavy pages in the books, too!
