MY COMMENTS:
This is the result of a wonderful long walk (well, climb) on Good Friday. The place is called Black Tor, but I am not sure if that will be the title of this painting....

Don't be gentle - I can take criticism. And I would appreciate an honest critique.....

MY QUESTIONS FOR THE GROUP:
What do you think???

red in sky could be same as the ruddy orange on the trees to unify.
all shapes great
all color below the sky great - wonderful

excellent use of pastels. line quality and texture very good and I admire. dark areas around the trees and other features really give an original feel to the piece.

compositionally I feel I am trapped after the wide part of the path. It seems to keep going, but I just cant get there with my old shoes. Jerry pointed out the color behind the trees on the top left. I'd really like to see some more works like this (same techniques).

have fun,
