Hi,everybody sorry so long absence and thanks for hosting Kay!
I've chosen these images.
The first one is "Karen",On Watson paper(230300mm),with W&N Watercolors,taken about 30min.
And socond one is "Orange Poppies" On Watson paper(300380mm),W&N Watercolors & Holbein Oilpastels,taken about 30min.

Excellent watercolors. Good portrait of Karen and outstanding wc of poppies.
Like the subtle use of oil pastels as a resist. Really eye catching painting.

Great job on "Karen" and those poppies really zing, Tosh. Like them both but the poppies would have to be my favorite of the two. Excellent work.

Lovely portrait of Karen, so loose and yet so defined, I knew it was her. Your poppies are bursting forth for spring and I like your combination of media which I sometimes use. Super, Toshi!!!

I've never used OP's and watercolor before....I love the effect you got using the 2 together for your poppies. As Angie says "they are popping!"
Nice work on the portrait of Karen too.
