Rosanna, have you studies oriental brush painting? There seems to be a strong influence in all your beautiful work...
I would like to see something darker toward the base of flowers... Lighter at the petal tips...

I like how you have painted the flowers very much, I don't like that black leaf though or the straw hat thing the flowers are in, it looks messy like scribbled on compared to the nice way you painted the flowers.

I've only done 1 watercolor about 20 years ago; I knew nothng then and still know nothing about this medium! I see the oriental influence and it's very contemporary as well. It boggles my mind reserving the white of the paper for the lightest lights and how to control this medium? I've seen some amazingly realistic work in watercolor; photorealistic even. I love your vivid color.

I love how you paint the flowers. So different from mine.
