MY COMMENTS:
I'm terrible at painting people but I liked the idea of this.

MY QUESTIONS FOR THE GROUP:
Any help with painting people would be welcome. Is there enough "moving" to this painting?

the moving is great.
the flesh color on the man's arm seems blobby. could you mix in some more denim color there to contrast with the shirt and tie into the pants and skirt - it would probably read well as arm but including blue (and other colors) in flesh is a handy way to make figures stand apart less from the painting as a whole. darkenning the mans face using her boots colro might be a good thing too.

I agree with you on the idea. I like it too. Getting the stance of people in paintings is hard, Making the legs support the weight of the torso above them. She is very natural and convincing. The foreshortning of her right am is great. His upper body is a little stiff and his arm (as Jerry said) looks a little blobby . I bet you learned tons with this painting and I'm really glad we got to see it here!
