Hey Kay - thanks for hosting and all the great images. I might get to do another yet. This one was painted while watching Kathy Johnson's Strathmore online watercolour sketching workshop (http://www.strathmoreartist.com/workshop-reg.html) and chatting with my friend. If anyone is interested this is really great - she has a lovely teaching style and gives loads of tips I hadn't heard of along the way. The trees are all her technique and the messy building is mine  but it was fun.
Strathmore wc journal (of course) 26 x 19 cm - about 2 hour-ish!

Nice one. I've always liked the unfinished edges, but I'm never sure exactly where to leave them unfinished. You've done it!

Well done. I especially like the trees on the right. I watched Cathy Johnson's class where she painted her basil plant, but forgot to sign on for more because I was watched Larry Seiler's webinar on landscaping.

Your whole scene could be from the 50's. Really nice.

This is a striking vignette, Ros, just love everything about the old building.
