Before I go blind tonight, I thought I would show you my second in the Pow Wow group.
I am just about 1/2 done and can't see and work in the morning, so I must stop.

Nobody ever ventures in to the other forums, but I started a work in progress over
in the pastel forum (http://www.wetcanvas.com/ubb/Forum11/HTML/000373.html)

I hope to work on it tomorrow...who knows, Maybe in the daylight!

I must make a piece of art everyday for my own well being.

please don't go blind!!!

I am jealous of the abundance you produce, but we want and need more so please work less hard (and last longer).

Beautiful painting Dj. I've started liking most of your paintings. Do your work on these from life?

These groupings are the first ones I have done from photos. The portraits are all from my open studios at the art school.
Since I took the photos it is a LITTLE more like life, but the experience is much different.
Some how I don't like photos as much, but it seems the results are turning out to be pretty rewarding. I may not have to leave the house again!?!?!
Thanks all.

Not much more but I think it is done.
I will be printing up a set of notecards and a good print on good pastel or watercolor paper to package up as a gift for the models.

(Finger is very funny looking and I seem to type but it surprises me when I pick up things! I will survive!)

Not a shred of evidence exists in favor of the idea that life is serious.

DJ , This one and the one with the ladies sitting, is really nice. It makes me think that maybe I should go back to pastel. Keep up the good work and you'll soon be rich and famous.

You are definately on track with this one. Looks wonderful and I can not see one thing that I would change about it.
