Wow... I love how you rendered the post fencing!!! IMHO, I would like to see a little variation in the middle and backgrounds, though... Those trees are great and very spring like, but I think they need to have some darker variations to work with the perspective of your cabin...

I like the way you handle trees, no fuss ............!
I like the way the light seems to filter through the trees.

This painting reminds me of th work of Edgar Whitney, the firm approach, the use of pure color (the yellow, whaw!).
I like this very much.

Im looking a second time and what I would like to see is a touch of sky colors somewhere either on the fence or tree bark..just a tiny subtle touch. It's just how I would do it but that doesn't mean it's the last word...It's great as is.
Always, I look forward to seeing your work. I like your style.

Like the light in this one Artman. Thanks for posting.
Well Artman42, again I realy like yours freedom. In fact, YOUR PAINTINGS are what has pushed me to loosen up and try to experience more freedom/enjoyment in my own painting! I started my latest post (WIP North Korean Kumkang Mnts) trying to stay loose and thinking of some of your expressive stroked posts. While my final output is still stuck on detail (and I like that) - you have posted many paintings stilll quite "raw" - but with a nice feel in that - and THAT has helped in my mental approach to painting... so... I wanted to not only say I like this one - but thanks for the unintended/unknown help on mine in the process.
Success 2u ... jti

I confess that I had to go back a few times to discern what you added! The additions are so subtle!!! I did find them and I have to say that you handled this so well... the extra line from the cabin seemed to solve the middle value problem... All with a brushstroke! I'm impressed...

Oh man... I LOVE your style... Can't help it...
And FYI - I own a house like that in Estonia... Haven't been there myself in more than 5 years, cos its rather expensive to drive up there from California... So this picture of your is therefor even more appealing...
