Having a day off in the dappled light under a tree.
His field companion is a tiny Shetland pony called Topper and the next time it stops raining I'm going to lurk in their field with a sketchbook.
and yes, Bob has a hairy upper lip.....

Bob is a Clydesdale horse.
He is utterly amazing - he is schooled in Western riding and can do all sort of spinny things.....with his mum on board. If I try to ride him he just sniggers (because my feet don't reach his stirrups) and he ignores my pleading and just follows his mum... although he has a nice bare-back canter. I can't even lift his western saddle off the ground and I'm not tiny!!!!
I shot a couple of reels of film in his field because he also stands still a lot!!!!!

Cool Drawing zilloot!
I love Clydes. I got to try out all the draft horses when I worked at a historical village. The Clydes and the Belgians were the best to ride!.
