Thanks Kay for the photos I could nt resist Hallie, is it yours BTW

It is watercolur 10'' x 9'' on Arches hp I worked on and off reframing a large old oil painting I took a pict around two hours and the finished is three and a half ?

Beautiful! Thanks for showing the 2-hour mark. I just wonder how you were able to come up with the white whiskers (and they are might thin!) after painting the black? The fur all over is just amazing! Bravo bravo bravo!

Yes, you're the King of the Cat portrait painters! Robert you made her look gorgeous. She adopted me, but not studio Siamese Jezebel, last July...have not ever been fond of torties but she is the sweetest little thing.

Just when I think she's perfect...really is a nice one. IRL she is so sweet. She reaches up and touches your hand or finger constantly wanting to be petted.

I can image a soft texture when touching the fur of the cat.

I like your use of contrast in every sense of the word. Light differentiation as well as depth through contrast.
