Karen, did you do a pour? This is sooo fresh and lovely... why, it's farm fresh (hehe)... Sorry... my sense of humour...

Anyway... back to how you accomplished this... The background trees are phenomenal... Your pallette is great...

Hi Karen , ditto comments about your palette, I would also like to say I think your use of the white in the paper is really effective as well, nice vibrant painting.

Karen,
I love the colors you've used and the looseness of this piece. Especially the foreground and the trees. Very nice.

Karen

yes I like the colors very vibrant.

I agree farm fresh. Reminds me of a quilt with the landscape of the farm land.

Once again Karen you have outshone yourself with this lovely work. I'm not to sure about the barn on the right leaning to one side, but then again I couldn't paint this well that's for sure!

I like the colors and use of white. Wish the red barn wasn't tilted.

well, this is earthquake country, you know :( Thanks for the feedback! didn't even notice the slant... I think I can easily fix it tho, thanks.

I don't care about the tilted barn. This is your painting and you can tilt anything you want to.

The beauty of this piece is its freshness. You kept it simple and fresh. You have resisted the temptation to overwrk this - and that IMHO is the genius of watercolor. More work in this style will be rewarded.

I particularly like the vibrations caused by the spectacular primaries introduced into the foreground.

Well done!

:)
