Wonderful, Frank.
I am happy you did not change the tree branch that I like so much. ;)
This work has great motion. From the beginning biker in the lower right right through the street culmination. The cast shadows continuing the feel of in motion. The red curb stops my eye and then I see the stationery bikes on the sidewalk and the red one leads back to the street and picks up the motion again. I note the forms on the left and they identify as buildings, and go back to the yellow sign breeze blowing on the street pole and back to the yellow car and continue on. Street color vey nice neutral, no combetition and shadows ground figures and vehicles.
Very interesting and well-thought-out palette.
This your best yet, Frank. Lots to hold my interest.

I think it is excellent as it is. It is beautiful.

I am afraid with all that SARS going around, it will not get any busier.

Great work, Frank! Having been in Taipei several times, your painting wonderfully projects the busy streets. You can almost hear the motor-scooters! Excellent!:D

Hello Frank,

This is a lovely painting. The composition is terrific and energetic. I really like how you've used lavendar to lead the viewer's eye in a zig-zag way deeper into the painting from the lady in the foreground to the helmet a little farther in, to a man's jacket even farther in.

BTW, if you use the Uploader button at the top of the page when you attach your image, we can get a second look at the painting as we add our comments.

Wonderful painting, Frank.

I wonder if it should be a little lighter? I used "Auto Levels" in photoshop - is this nearer the original?

Frank a wonderful painting full of life and motion. Your use of lighting to add drama to the scene is a sign that you are very comfortable with the medium and that you have a good knowledge of how to depict it in a painting.

Great painting.
How do people manage to drive on those busy streets, I don't know.

Thanks for looking at, I know most of you can not image how the street can be so busy, it is another reference photo I took that day. I think you will believe.
