Gilberte, that little portrait is wonderful! My favorite colors for china are blue and white and I use the same blue & white in my house--if you can't find anybody to take the portrait off your hands, just send it my way LOL

Made me think of a portrait on a coin, just enlarged. Very nicely done. A little back lighting on the back of head especially nice touch!

Now put that ciggarette out. No smoking in the house!

Oh, this is wonderful Gilberte and quite different from your usual style!!!!!!!!!
The ciggie reminded me of the time I missed the ferry back to England so had to stay the night in Ostend. Didn't have any ciggies left because I was going to buy a carton duty free on the ferry, so had to buy a package of Belgian ones - WOW were they strong!!!! (That was in the early 1960's)

Lovely combination of 2 styles the very realistic saucer and cigarette and the loose portrait.

Thank you :
JoAnn : you are a "fidèle" looker !
Ushi : yes, it is different and small, good fun nevertheless (yes, Belgian ciggies are strong  )
CharM : inspired by a snapshot of my husband (younger!)
Carrie : I can't stop ... smoking I mean.
Nina : merci, nice to read you.
Jaytee: je ne sais pas quoi dire ... I'll ask the French Prince Charming :D
Gia : thank you, also keep me informed of your portrait progress !
Artmom : shall I do a blue saucer-sized series ?
