Just playing around trying out acrylics on a piece of slate.

This took about 5 hours, and measures roughly 6" X 5"

That is really cool! Love the paws!

I saw a gal who had taken others prints and glued(?) them on slate like this. This looks tons better. (Not to mention that she was copyright infringing)

Can't wait to see you do a "real" one.;) ;)

What are you working on right now?

Heather, this piece I'm working on right now, might be one I can't do very well! Craftyhopo, challenged me to do a landscape, and I'm not having a lot of luck with it. But I shall keep trying...I think it's good to challenge one's self, to learn and grow.

Thankyou all for your very kind words!

Bob, you're forgiven! (Giggle)

Lorna
It has been so long since I've been here, I had to really think how every thing worked.
First off CONGRATS ON YOUR MEDAL!
Second just love the cougars.
Third Everyone at the W.V. show said your work was outstanding.
Best in the house.
Thought you would like to know that

I'm glad to see that I'm not the only one with problems in this challenge. I've spent about 10 hours so far painting just the head and neck of a horse and to make things worse I'm doing it in watercolour!:crying: The blending is a night mare (excuse the punn).
I am however waiting for some Prismacolors CP's to arrive from your land, I just hope they don't drop them on the way over!!
I't will be a while yet, note I have chicken out a little by leaving out a backgound just a few blades of grass around the feet/hooves....... erm whatever!

Hi Paul,

I made matters worse, too, doing it in w/c, as well. It's a medium I'm not altogether comfortable with. Good luck to both of us!;)
