While I do love your mountains, this spectacular spectacular is a wonderful totality.

Thanks Jerry! I painted this after a trip to a museum in Washington DC. I loved the sky in that painting....can't remember the artist who inspired me or the museum this morning. *LOL* my brain is a fuzzball with this headcold.

I love this. The dark clouds at the top of the painting make me want to duck into the rest of the scenery and get involved. The moutains speak to me and can barely be heard.

good work,and have fun,

Bocote

Strong and bold, this is my favorite of yours. I guess I need to make a trip to the museum if this would be the result

I think more than a cezenne pill, Maybe you ate a Cezenne Sandwhich. Really a great landscape. That is some sky!

Thank you Scott! It is a favorite...now living in California. *GRIN*

Carrie....is that the artist??? I was inspired by some famous painting but can not remember who it was!! I was looking in my picture files for that trip and still can not find it. Do you know?...it is the sky that was the inspiration and the distant hills. The foreground is completely different.
