I'm really glad you all like it. This was my fourth colored pencil drawing and second animal drawing in colored pencil. I learned a lot from it but have a lot more to learn and will continue to hone the skills needed to create realistic colored pencil art.
Now I'm onto a graphite Bullmastiff drawing that I'm posting the WIP for under the D & S forum since it's not a painting or in color :)

:lol: Thanks Tommie! I was to scared to put more than a shadow under their paws. Maybe next time I'll actually attempt a background :lol:

Cute! The composition and simplicity of the background remind me of some of the old Japanese paintings sumi-e paintings (which I adore).
