Wayne;..the subtleties in color and texture here are SUPERB!
Let me say that again......lol,...those COLORS are PERFECT.
I wanna see THIS "in person"!!
Everything came together on this one, my friend. Holy S**T!:D

WOWIE ZOWIE! I love it. Pour yourself three snifters full of brandy,....light a cigar,..and pat yourself on the back.

Holy Moley Wayne!

....he couldn't have said it better. This painting is perfection! You've brought everything you've been working with lately and seamed them together flawlessly. I love those muted colors, and the way the vivid colors sizzle against them. The quiet sky is perfect with this piece, and you did an expert job with your sky holes.. we don't see holes, we see trees!

Great work! After you finish that cigar, I'll join you guys for the brandy. :D

sky looks great to me.

Parts that I found I liked the most include the fallen red tree in the background and the debth that you have attained on just the tan areas... there is very little color variation in these areas, yet they really work.

this is one of the better ones I have seen from you, but all are good.

have fun,

Bocote

Lookin good. The sky is hard to make out...it all looks one color on my monitor. I would like to see how you paint...to get the wispy harsh edges ...is this with a palette knife? Nice colors...for a change in the winter scenes!
