Wow! Beautiful! And I sure don't see a "nag", I see a gorgeous horse, beautifully rendered.
And in Watercolor? Even more outstanding!

Excellent work and I love how the background sets him off! One minor nitpick is to double check the diameter of the canon bone (lower leg) on the front leg closest to us (his left). It looks a bit thin and weak just below the knee and not as substantial as the other front leg (actually the lower part of the right hind leg looks a wee bit thin too). Otherwise I think you have done great!

thanks for the C&C, my hubby also thought too thin on the legs also, will thicken,,,,,fresh eyes definitely help, thanks

Stunning. I love the motion you've managed to capture here.

I love a painting more when it has movement with a story within the image itself.
A clap of thunder set the horse in motion is my interpretation.
Great work
Painting fun

Gary...you just made my day...I didn't know wether to paint in the lightning or leave it to the viewers imagination, now if I could just finsh the foreground with dirt flying toward the viewer I might feel like it is closer to finished... something about the head of the horse bugs me ...but |I can't put my finger on it yet.....perhaps it is the shadow line beneath the muzzle and chest....have fixed the legs, and sharpened the line on the right leg against the backgound
