Worked on this one today also...........
Will let it age for a while..........
This is based on a photo by Joe Majury...................
Thank you Joe for posting foto in the RIL...... You may view Joe's foto HERE. (http://www.wetcanvas.com/RefLib/showphoto.php?photo=13188&papass=&sort=1)

This was painted rather quickly and loosely with a wet on wet process.......

It's done on Arches with WN paints and is half sheet........

Al, your landscapes are always so interesting... there are always additional things to look for after the first glance....

Looks good Al. Would a bit of the sky's blue in the water help a bit?

Al,

This is a lovely landscape. I really like the colors and sense of distance you've achieved. I like the weeks in the foreground pointing the viewer's eye into the painting. You might even add a few more weeks there IMHO.

Al, I wish I could get that wonderful looseness you have in my landscapes. This must be a fall scene, I thought Ireland was emerald green all over (just kidding)! LOL

I like!

Al,

I just reread what I had written earlier, and since it is too late to edit, I thought I'd make my correction by quoting myself:

It is WEEDS I like and even think you could use a few more WEEDS in the foreground.

Guess I better start reading my messages before I hit the send button. Sorry.
