View Full Version : WDE Images for Mar 1/2 are here

You have 30 minutes to make your choice and choose your materials - you may use any medium.

For the next two hours, just go for it, then STOP!, scan or photograph your work and post it in your own new thread with your title, beginning with WDE, plus date, plus title.
Use WIP for any work in progress at the 2 hour mark, and MI for multiple images if other works are to be added before the following Tuesday.
Donít forget to say what your medium of choice is and the size and time it took to paint\draw it.

NB. To avoid forum flooding, please put all of your work during the weekend, for the current WDE, into a single thread: multiple threads will be merged!
From the following TUESDAY, you may open a new thread for later work.

You have the whole week to participate - until the next WDE starts (usually Friday). .

You may open a new thread from Tuesday if you wish.
It's assumed we are all appreciative of any comments others make, so it's OK not to say 'Thank you' to everyone!!! ;)
After posting your contribution, please view othersí entries and comment and encourage when you can. Unless requested, please refrain from critiquing.

i LOVE you jean - I am in bed now but I can choose and print off and they'll be all ready for me to make a start tomorrow...

Question,.... That second photo of Wales with the arch - is that Conwy - North Wales. It looks familiar - we used to holiday in Conway every year when my son was a baby in his push chair and we walked under an arch like that and turned left onto the quayside and there was a pub called the Liverpool Arms we used ot sit outside and we could look across to Llandudno - it looks so like it.....

That New York Street could almost be a city in England like Nottingham or similar....not quite the hustle and bustle I though of for NY....

Love the squirrel - he has such huge eyes... loving the dog too but did an Alsatian this week already....Lions and musical instruments - wow I'm spoilt for choice!!!!!!

Yes Lin thats Conway, if you go to the link and click on original size you can read the sign posted on the right side wall. I spent a week in Wales and loved every minute of it :)

I have some very very fond memories of Conwy we went for about 8 years but stopped because they planned some construction work on the bridge and it had always been a nightmare before and we didn't fancy 2 weeks of road works - we used to camp. Liverpool Arms was great as it sold Real Ale and lovely home made pies with a great view - that was in the days when we actually had some sun in summer and we didn't need se veral layers of clothes to stop from freezing.

Thanks so much for this nostalgia :)

Hi Jean! What a lovely bunch of photos. It's so hard to choose! I'm sure I'll come up with a few.

I notice a lot of your indoor plants are tropical looking. We have those here!

Thanks for posting early!
