:clap: :clap: :clap: Wow!!! :clap: :clap: :clap: You certainly came out of your slump with a bang! I absolutely love your foreground detail - it's stunning! I like the bright touch of blue in the water! Beautiful, beautiful painting!!!

I like it! very nice and full of atmosphere.
It recalls to me a littl '800 watercolors!

WOW is right!! If this doesn't show you're out of your slump hon, I don't know what will!! This is great....love everything about this....specifically the lighting in the sky and then reflected on the water

great job Barb, i miss seeing your paintings etc. you need to get out of this slum soon. this is certainly a step in the right direction

Brilliant seascape Barb,

Lovely colour variation in the water, the horizon glows with the rising sun, and the strong warm foreground contrasts perfectly ,

Well done, You're not in a slump, no way :)

slump....yeah still sort of, just having a little more trouble finding things that inspire me...thats all.....once inspired I have no trouble. :rolleyes:

With those kind of paintings I think you should stay in the slump HA! It's beautiful!!!!!

The foreground is excellent with the deep darks, pops of red and the detail on grasses and twigs. The ocean is perfection. The distant glow on the horizon... this is just a lovely, moody piece!

I want to be in a slump like you!! On my best, most energized day I can't approach this!! :D

Great painting, especially the foreground. Agree about the birds but that is one my phobias.
