did u by purpose use light color for stones.

I love this. I thought it was an oil painting until I read the notes and saw acrylic.

Qaziazif, you mean the large rock on the left of the viewer?It is a little bit darker, has more wet feeling, in the real painting but the whole scene is more alive with bits of sun light.

Is the river in flood? The water appears to pass around the base of the trees.

Nick , I painted it for the Waterfalls art project here on WC! and used the refference photo generously provided to us from the site:http://calsgallery.com then go to Gallery #4 and choose the Waterfalls . You will find my reference photo very fast and you will decide then it was river in flood or just... Enjoy:)
