Someone at my church asked me to paint someting for an upcoming silent auction to benefit the parish school. Here's what I came up with. Comments and Critiques welcome and much appreciated.

I like the colors and path.........
How 'bout one of your bushes in the corner to balance a bit and help step you into the picture......??
Something to ponder.........

Hmmmm! You're right! That is something to ponder! (I think I like it!) What do y'all others think?

Its a lovely scene well rendered, good colour choice and values.
I like the foreground shrub, but would also like to see the path bend back into the scene so that the eye is not taken out,

I like your painting a lot, the colors are harmonious and the composition is graceful and interesting.
You've had good suggestions from two of the masters here in the Watercolor forum. One suggestion I might make is to add a little bit of texture to your path to soften it.
This should go over well in the Silent Auction.
The suggestions really enhance an already beautiful painting.

Charming painting! I like the light and soft beautiful colors. I agree with Al about adding some foliage in the right corner.:)
