The lilacs are three weeks ahead this year because of lots of sunshine we had already and please comment on my impressionist rendering ... thanks for your time ...

this is gorgeous Gilberte. glad to see "your" season has arrived. always love your florals.
This is a really beautiful piece. We're still a month or so away from lilac season but looking at this piece reminds me of what is to come.

How I love your impressionistic (high key HA!) paintings Gilberte!!!!! and yet I cannot paint that way:crying: :crying:

This style of painting & subject matter just touch my soul to the core. It is what I hope to be able to do but am so new at this that I have alot of work ahead of me.

Fookie : re Daily Wash... lack of time my dear ... and now and again hubby Herman wants to have a game of Chess or play Cards on the computer :D so we keep the Church in the Middle (that's a Flemish saying) !

So nice to see one of your beautiful Impressionistic florals again. I like the golden light in the lower right (facing the screen) of the painting.
Your colors are lovely together too. One small question, should there be a little bit of the shadow that is under the vase also under the bowl of fruit to ground it more?
Our lilics are beginning to show up on their bushes, but aren't open quite yet. Love those flowers, wonderful scent and beauty of shape all rolled up in one.
