Finally got my photos back and decided to have a dabble with them last night.
Comments and critique welcome, this is my first time painting water seriously!
*The sky has more purple in it than you see here!

Lovely painting. I like the colors you've used for the bridge. As for the water I am not that good at it but I am going to take a stab at this to see what others think. It looks as tho the water would be flowing under the bridge and down which would mean that the whites would be in a different direction. Kind of across the river. I don't even know if this makes sense! Jeez, sorry and I certainly don't know if I am even right.

Good start on your "Paris series", Anita.
Perhaps the rh side of the first arch could be rounded off a little more (an easy fix).

Very nice Anita! I like the colors and darks in this. When I look at the bridge supports, first they appear to be above the water (floating) and not anchored, but then I look away and back and they look fine :confused: A little optical illusion going on here?
But heck, what do I know? Great painting!! :clap: :clap:
