View Full Version : WDE Feb 24 IMAGES are HERE early

02-23-2012, 07:21 PM
You have 30 minutes to make your choice and choose your materials - you may use any medium.

For the next two hours, just go for it, then STOP!, scan or photograph your work and post it in your own new thread with your title, beginning with WDE, plus date, plus title.
Use WIP for any work in progress at the 2 hour mark, and MI for multiple images if other works are to be added before the following Tuesday.
Donít forget to say what your medium of choice is and the size and time it took to paint\draw it.

NB. To avoid forum flooding, please put all of your work during the weekend, for the current WDE, into a single thread: multiple threads will be merged!
From the following TUESDAY, you may open a new thread for later work.

You have the whole week to participate - until the next WDE starts (usually Friday). .

You may open a new thread from Tuesday if you wish.
It's assumed we are all appreciative of any comments others make, so it's OK not to say 'Thank you' to everyone!!! ;)
After posting your contribution, please view othersí entries and comment and encourage when you can. Unless requested, please refrain from critiquing.

all larger photos are in the RIL, however it is not working , so if anyone wants one PM me and I will email it to you. If the RIL starts working by tomorrow I will add a post to this thread with the links.
just to be on the safe side, download a few photos, in case the site goes south like last weekend.

on with the show.

Some lovely images here. I will try to join in - haven't done a WDE in absolutely ages although I do peek at the pics now and then.

That sunflower pottery is similar to some I nearly bought here in Provence before I actually moved here. Only they didn't take credit card and I had no cash on me. C'est la vie.

Thanks, Bonnie - such a great group of photos! I will have a hard time trying to decide....

02-24-2012, 11:48 AM

I think they must be gloxinias (although I'm expert) because of their funnel shape - I've had violas and they are flat and face-like

Can you tell me which dog is which name please?

I'd like to do more thawn oneMight start tomorrow though I've had a work on the board all week as it has been so busy this week.
