View Full Version : Blue Tit

I couldn't resist painting this Blue Tit, it's oil on canvas 10"x12". I used a medium grain canvas as usual and I was quite pleased with the amount of detail I was able to get with it, even so I think I'd like to try a finer grain to see what it's like.

Beautifully done and a strong composition! I like it with this amount of detail - you've very successfully captured the "feel" of the bird without having to depict every feather detail.
